Tatkal booking starts 2 days before departure of train and booking starts at 8 am. U can book it from home if you have a net connection but it is very difficult to book because the site works very slowly at that time.Better option is try to book from a reservation counter near a station.
means it is not right that tatkal booking starts in the morning 5 o'clock ??
Normal ticket booking starts at 5 am, but opening day tatkal booking starts at 8 am along with reservation counters.Tatkal booking on 2nd day can be done at 5am.
can u suggest me that 16 june sanghmitra express 2295 ....there is ac3 waiting 16...will be confirmed or not ..i want a guess from u people so that i can take..

It will be really difficult to get confirmed ticket as that time is peak travel period.
