Sorry mistake in the name of the train.....this train is the ALLP CAN Executive Express...........
The route was electrified much before. I remember travelling to my college in train hauled by WAP in this route :)
Earlier 12075/76 used to be hauled by WAP when this train was originating/terminating at ERS

The first train to run on this stretch was Trivandrum Chennai Mail. And on the way the train on its maiden run hit a school girl....
The ERS Kottayam/ Alappuzha Stretch was also electrified and commissioned much before that.. and ERS Kayamkulam passengers used to run with WAP/WAM
