I have booked two tickets for 6529(udyan Express) from Pune to Bangalore for travel date 24-Apr-2010. The current PNR Status is Waitlist/3 and Waitlist/4. Wanted to know what are chances of getting it confirmed??

As suggested by Mr Karthik chances are to move in RAC are good but I have doubts by checking the high wait list in Genral Quota in 3A from Mumbai Onwards & keeping the summer factor in my mind. 3A wait list is difficult to clear in summer season than sleeper.
So I will advice you to try tatkal for confirmed tickets, this train is having 30 seats tatkal quota from pune.
If you get confirmed tatkal then cancel this one.

i) As a standby measure, do go for Tatkal booking tomorrow but be in time as the Tatkal booking opens at 8.00 am sharp and within few minutes, it gets booked.
ii) Do not loose Tatkal opportunity. Once booked, immediately cancel the earlier WL ticket. The cancelllation charge will be only Rs. 20/- being clerkage charge and hence full refund.

Thanks for the suggestion. What is best way to book tatkal online. I have observed in morning at 08;00 AM IRCTC Site is very slow. I will have option of booking online only.
Online self booking is not advisable as it involves huge time factor in payment process and every chance of getting system hanged or aborted for one or another reason. Apart from this, the booking process goes very slow in view of lower internet speed. If not possible to approach any computerised reservation centre, better you approach any approved Rail Travel Agent in the vicinity of your area or anywhere located as the booked ticket, you can always get via e-mail.
