to go to mookambika temple in karnataka...which stn is nearer?

No, Its some thing like Road Side Station(constructed/Renovated from the local PEOPLE and for the PEOPLE)
Mookambika Road Junction (BYNR) is near station. From station catch rickshaw to Byndoor Bus Stand (Less than Rs.50). From Byndoor to Kollur bus facilities are there. Ensure that you are reaching at day time. Otherwise best would be Kundapura Station (KUDA). From railway station to Kundapura Bus Stand again less than Rs.50 for rickshaw, you can get express bus in every 15 min. In case of night hours stay at Kundapura only you can get good logdes etc.
Another option is from Kundapura Station catch taxi. I believe ~300-400 Rupees. From new route is Kundapura Station - Basrur - Gulvady vented dam bridge - Gulvady - Neralakatte - Vandse - Kollur. It is less than 35 km journey. God Bless !!
