Re# 3350165-13
i hope Gatiman, Tejas, Humsafar are are new concepts which are rolled out in last 4 year for high speed operations. T-18 may save time on LR , but what will the cost of it ? Alreasy more than 50% Shatabdi trains not getting good demand. How realistic to create there trains replace shatabdi trains ? I am not against these new concepts but there should be some standardization is what i am saying.
Expect some some 40-50 km, no where India railways supports 160 kmph and they keep on telling about upgradtation of tracks but no where it happend. Max they are upgrading to 130 kmph not 160 kmph.
