Heard rumours about extending this train to Vasco. I know that there is rake sharing with UBL-LTT, but can't help feeling optimistic about the rumours, considering the SWR always neglects Vasco. If they do extend this to Vasco, it provides direct connectivity from Goa to Hubli-Gadag-Vijayapura-Gulbarga-Secunderabad. Even daily train is not needed, tri-weekly express could be considered. Any suggestions/ information about the rumours?

a new passanger train to VASCO at this point of time is not possible unless there is heavy political pressure to get one (just like TPTY/YB-VSG weekly) ...but being a weekly they managed it but i don't think they can create new slot in that section entirely (else they have to use some existing slot in which goods are running which is again loss of revenue )....

The Mumbai train had horrible timings when introduced. The MP worked towards the better timings. So that train's timings is set and so is the RSA. So RSA cant be removed, unless they introduce some other train and make it have RSA with the Mumbai train.
And if at all VSG gets a new daily, it would be for YPR first as the demand is more.
Only after Braganza ghat is doubled, we can expect new trains.
