I need some advice on how to make my travel from Thekkaddy/Kumily to Rameswaram via Madurai. Trains don't seem to have a direct connectivity. Are there good buses (preferably airconditioned) or one-way cabs available? Or can anyone suggest any other alternate route? I'm traveling with family.
There are trains from RMM to MDU.
Or you can can use TN govt buses from RMM to MDU. Lot of buses available.
At Madurai, not sure if the buses from Rameswaram goes to Mattuthavani or Arapalyam bus stand. Again not sure if buses to Kumily are from which bus stand.
But both bus stands have local bus connection.

Thanks bro. Actually, I've already booked my conveyance Madurai onward. I'm only bothered about my travel from Kumily to Madurai. Taxis aren't available for one-way travel, they'll charge a return trip even if you don't make that travel. Hence, I was particularly looking for any air conditioned service (bus/train) plying towards Madurai from Kumily. I don't see any volvo service running b/w the two cities. Do you know of any?
