The thing is, it was built in year 1875 and regirdered by Western railway and contract given to English men in year 1965-66.
New Bridge is set to be built on it's right side Which will ease Traffic flow

Great Capture!
To be more precise, it was just re-girdered in 1966, with the old girders being replaced. Richardson and Cruddas Ltd. is an Indian Government owned entity. It was officially taken over by the Government in 1972, but operations were mostly Indian-managed after Independence, based out of Bombay (Byculla Iron works as noted on the name plate).
