I was at Thakurli Station Today (Mumbai DIV, CR) which has a TSS Or Traction SubStation. I saw wires coming out from there through vertical break type isolator and to the OHW. But what I saw was those wires were not connected or they were not touching each other. There some millimetres of air gap between wire coming from TSS and OHW. But they somehow where connected through something wound on it. I'm pretty sure wires were not touching. Was unable to take picture as I was in hurry but I hope you must have seen it. So my questions are:-
