Fire accident in AP AC express near Gwalior at Birlanagar station. 4 coaches got fire, from pantry fire spread to B5,B6,B7. As train in standing position passenger got down immediately.
గ్వాలియర్‌ : మధ్యప్రదేశ్‌లోని గ్వాలియర్‌ వద్ద ఏపీ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌లో మంటలు చెలరేగాయి. దిల్లీ నుంచి విశాఖ వస్తోన్న ఏపీ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌లో బిర్లా నగర్‌ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌ వద్ద ఒక్కసారిగా మంటలు చెలరేగి నాలుగు బోగీలకు వ్యాపించాయి. వెంటనే అప్రమత్తమైన ప్రయాణికులు రైలు నుంచి దిగారు. వీరిలో 36 మంది శిక్షణలో ఉన్న ఐఏఎస్‌లు కూడా ఉన్నారు.
ప్యాంట్రీ కారుకు ముందున్న బోగీలో షార్ట్‌సర్య్కూట్‌ కారణంగా మంటలు చెలరేగినట్లు ప్రత్యక్ష సాక్షులు చెబుతున్నారు. అనంతరం మంటలు బి-5, బి-6, బి-7 బోగీలకు వ్యాపించాయి. ఘటనాస్థలికి చేరుకున్న అగ్నిమాపక సిబ్బంది మంటలను అదుపులోకి...

hope fully, once again this train maintenance issue . Many videos with RATs posted on twitter but no action taken by railways. Now 4 bogies burned which cost crs of money. Instead they can do better maintenance
Ya if the running train caught fire it will do more damage it will create rucks among passengers to get down from the train considering GWL is 3kms away train won't be at MPS even if signal is green.
Luckily the fire was caused near a major city, if it would have been in some rural area it could've been worse
Rats might have cut some electrical wires, we have seen many videos of rats running in this exp. Very bad maintenance
yes, railways should seriously investigate why it happened. As its LHB fire shouldn't go to other bogies but still how extra 3 coaches effected is question. That too train not in running position.
