Why don't you try duranto till Delhi. And Delhi Sai you will get other train easily.
you may go for a break journey. BDTS to NDLS in Rajdhani or Garibrath on 1st June, then from delhi to chandigarh you can either take una janshatabdi or you can take a bus to chandigarh which are continuous from 5am upto 11pm..it takes around 4-5 hours from delhi to chandigarh by bus
