Elec foundation works finished
Elec Poles are FIXED to foundation 90%
Elec Portals are FIXED to foundation 90%
Elec Poles/ Portals where cantilever assembly FIXED 70%
Elec Wiring 0%
Works going on full swing in
- fixing central beams in portals
- fixing cantilever assembly
- fixing poles/ portals to foundation
Two special wagons were in action
- one with poles, portals and crane
- one coach for OHE wiring, fixing assemblies
Team of Labourers were found working restlessly in hot summer in 45 deg celsius where other than water, tree shade NOTHING is there to beat the heat ...
Work goes on restless day and night for completing the target...
Whenever line block is permitted of about 15 mins or 30 mins or 1 hour, the team quickly moves with the special wagon/ coach and return with fast action ...
Though L&T has given enough safety equipments/ accessories like ropes, helmets, florescent jackets, gloves, etc... they are all useless...
Saw labourers working in bare hands...
Labourers climbing in HOT HOT HOT masts like monkeys...
Sitting on top of the HOT HOT HOT portals for fixing central beam...
Working by touching HOT HOT HOT portals/ posts/ nuts/ bolts/ etc.. etc...
Hats off to the team of labourers who toil much ... needless to say more...
