Hello everyone,
bpl shatabdi covers the distance of 703 kms in 7hr50min with avrge speed or 89.74 kmph including halts and 93.7 excluding halts.. At the same time mumbai rajdhani covr the same distance of 705km in 7hr 8min with the avrg speed of 100.7 kmph excluding halt i.e. Kota n with averge speed of 98.83 kmph.. So why we consider bpl shatabdi as fastest train?? Correct m if m wrong

I think as now wap loco can enter the mumbai region preventing loco change at brc ,so in near by future mumbai rajdhani might b the no.1 contender for fastest train as the halt time at brc will b reduced..
