Nagapattinam (TN), Feb 11 (PTI) Railway Ministry should allocate Rs 300 crore in this year's Railway Budget for the long-pending Mayilduthurai-Tarangambadi broadgauge line laying work, BJP Natinal Council member K Rajendran said today. The previous MG line dismantled in the 1990s had not yet been converted as BG line, he told reporters at Mayiladuthurai. How ridiculous ? Can we move courts for new trains including DURUNTOS, new stops, abolition of existing stops, change in timings, altered days of service, increase/decrease of duration of stops, gauge conversion, electrification, change of routes, doubling/trebling-quadrupling of tracks, bullet trains, and finally decrease of railway fares. Will the courts throw out such nonsense petitions or pronounce judgements on operational matters inspired by a spirit of COMMON GOOD and/or JUDICIAL ACTIVISM.
