Shradhha Setu express - ஶ்ரீ ராமர் பாதபூமியில் இருந்து ஶ்ரீ ராமர் ஜென்மபூமி வரை ஒரு ஆன்மீக பயணம் - Sakthivel Srinivasan

Day before yesterday traveled in this train from Trivandrum Central to Guruvayoor. The train was expected to reach on platform No 2 around 2330 hrs. Reached the station around 2315 hrs and entered the platform from the small gap between the over bridge and platform no 1. Erode Shed WDM 3A brought the Guruvayoor bound train on platform No 2 around 2340 hrs and train stood there for 20 mins for the loco change. First time I am seeing my berth being vacant, last 2 times, i had to wake up the passenger to occupy my berth. The TTE was so attentive in his duty. He came to me to check my ticket as soon as i boarded the train.

Heard from my co passenger that the TTE had woke up the passengers who were sleeping on my berth and made them vacate the seats. Train left Trivandrum central around 2355 hrs. The loco from TVC was a Erode shed WAP4. She started of smoothly and her initial pick up was so good. RPF were found strolling inside the compartments and each 2 coaches having 2 RPF. Even though the train was late, the WAP4 and its locos did a extremly good work by covering up the late running time,
Train reached kollam Jn 10 mins late and my co passengers got down and a new set got in. Found the TTE was verifying the tickets even before the passengers boarded the train that they can sleep peacefully. Woke up by the loud announcements at ERNAKULAM jn and found that the time was 3:15. Checked the time with the IRI site and found that the train was early by 30 mins. My heavens the wap 4 did an excellent work. I found the train had emptied by 25% and got down at ERS and had a stroll to the engine and had a tea visiting the nearby shop. The train was given signal only at 3:50 making it on time. again got slept off and woke up at TCR, and occupied a nearby Side Lower Berth and watched the cold fog outside as the train moved away from the main line to the guruvayoor line. Finally the train reached Guruvayoor again before time at 0620 hrs.

TTE Duty: 10/10 as he made the journey smooth by checking the tickets before train left making sleep good for passengers.
