I want SR to restore its original CC. But I know its never going to happen. SR's step motherly treatment towards its very first intercity shows that it can go to any extend to run DD. My wish is that it gets "atleast" one AC CC and PC replacing two 2S coaches.
Brindavan used to be the fastest earlier with 3 ACCC and 1 PC along with 13 2S. SR is making DD survive at the cost of Brindavan.
Adding to the woes above, DD is currently using Brindavan's slot. Brindavan used to start at 7:15 AM and reach SBC by 1:30 PM. Later, it started at 7:25 AM. Even before DD was introduced,atleast an year before, its slot was changed to 7:50 AM and two ACCC were removed. Finally, the lone AC chair car that was left also was taken away and subsequently the PC. 13 2S coaches were reduced to 6. Remaining were UR coaches. Now they have increased 2S coaches.
People are herded like cattle in UR. If anything, then UR must be increased. Now they come and stand in the reserved coaches causing hardship to reserved people. This and Lalbagh both are worst.

Yes. Even with 6 2S coaches,Brindavan couldnt handle UR coach. This is the case with all intercities of IR. UR is the most demanded class of travel. I have seen UR people in 22691 itself. They were given bedroll(they stayed near the door) by TTE and they travelled till NZM. :D
