Later it was extended to Gadag and then up to Hubli.
Now it is running as 11423/24 Solapur - Hubli Intercity Express.
This train now a days making OT of Solapur Hubli passenger at Bagalkot often as both will be standing at Bagalkot for crossing with Hubli Bijapur passenger and even some times Mumbai Gadag Exp and this train made to stand at Bagalkot and SUR UBL pass made to wait some where before BGK as all 3 PF of BGK get occupied and no crossing can be done.
