Few months ago IR came up with Fully Air Conditioned EMUs in Mumbai and were also keen on implementing the same in other cities like Chennai , Kolkata.
Is it a better idea to attach 1 AC coach to a normal EMU train (by replacing First Class) instead of running completely Air conditioned train . EMU trains with AC coach can be operated alternately or 1 in 3 trains depending on crowd.

I think they can be having experimental runs for a month,so they can get the result whether to run or not IMO.
AC emu will be sucessful if it caters long distance as fast emu
that what i am saying.
CGL GPD fast, TRT VLCY fast. CJ MSB fast will fetch patronage but if u run as TBM MSB or AVD MSB definate flop

In current condition, they are not fetching passengers. Fare is actually too much for people. People don't bother to spend so much in crowd. If they want to spend money they prefer cabs or private AC bus service which will take him with seat.
