Though the train is fine, it won't be a commercial hit. Couple of years back, SR ran an intercity special (SA - MAS) before Kovai time slot , if I am not wrong, and withdrew after a week's run citing poor patronage.
SR should think of an intercity between SA and MS in VRI - VM route. The special train that ran on this route a year back was a reasonable hit. But was stopped for reasons best known to SR.
