Mostly Shaktipunj is retained at JBP for an hour or so if Janshatabdi gets delayed.
As far as I know, Shaktipunj is detained at JBP for sometime in case this train gets delayed since, as mentioned by Yash bhaiyya, many from BPL use this chain

Last time janshatabdi was late due to some reason so shaktipunj was detained at Jabalpur for 1.5 hrs .There were about 300 people for shaktipunj inJS
