I have just booked my ticket in Howrah-Rajdhani train for 12 May. Was goin through the various comments, and after reading about the food quality, i am getting a bit nervous. Now i am regretting booking my ticket for this train.
Even after paying Rs. 2000 passengers get stale and bland food then it is a matter of concern. What further scares me is that guests have commented about reports of people falling ill after consuming the food. Are these reports correct/confirmed? If it is true, shouldn't the rail administration do something about this.

Sorry! I forgot to sign in at #36030-5.
I fully agree with 36030-4 that the food quality is gradually going on degrading, But it was not as bad, as described by #36030.
Regarding your concern about the news that few month back that after consuming food some of the passanger got ill, so we have read news that few months back there was a train accident and many people were died.

in fact i was one of the sufferers on that particular day.... thats why i warn the passengers against taking this rajdhani.... sealdah raj is much better
