Good point Vinay, you're right. Initially there was a proposal of running weekly Ubl-Majn ICE also on this slot. don't know what happened to it.
Extension of Amravati exp seems to be a good proposal. It arrives VSG at 3pm and departs next day, it can be extended to MAJN.
My opinion regarding extension of Amaravathi express till Mangaluru /blog/post/3656695 and /blog/post/3656695
Instead of adding extra slip till MAJN/MAQ, my idea was that they can do reversal at MAO and terminate the whole train at Mangaluru, if it arrives at MAJN by 8pm/9pm. But I think there will be 2 problems:1. this move will not be welcome by people who prefer the train to terminate at VSG 2. If the whole train were to start from MAJN, then it will have to start at an odd time of 12am-2am.
Yes. This train can't be taken to Mangaluru by cancelling Madgaon - Vasco Da Gama portion. Hence it is better to introduce new train in this route.
