I travelled today in Dee BDTS garib rath from DEC to Jaipur. Electrification work has started from Khatipura station of Jaipur. Foundation for electric poles is laid from Khatipura to Bassi and poles are already erected between Bassi and Bandikui. But no work of electrification seen between Alwar Bandikui stretch. Only Doubling of track. Trains will run with electric loco only when complete stretch is electrified and it may take 2 years minimum. Yes you can expect P5 or P7 with Ajmer Shatabdi and DEE Double Decker in 2020. Till than all trains passing through Jaipur to Delhi side would run by Diesel locos only.
