The Delhi - Nuh - Alwar line was news to me, so I did some digging and found two articles:

short summary seems to be that in one and a half month, the survey is expected to be finished, after which there will be more details on the alignment of the tracks. It's worth noting that their estimate for the track length, 110 kilometer, is shorter than the current 156 kilometer distance between New Delhi and Alwar. If common sense prevails and the new track is electrified from the get go (and while I'm wishing for a pony on a silver platter, may they also make it doubled and certified for traffic at up to 110 km/h), it will shave an hour off trains bound for Rajasthan and Gujarat.
