It's worth noting that their estimate for the track length, 110 kilometer, is shorter than the current 156 kilometer distance between New Delhi and Alwar. If common sense prevails and the new track is electrified from the get go (and while I'm wishing for a pony on a silver platter, may they also make it doubled and certified for traffic at up to 110 km/h), it will shave an hour off trains bound for Rajasthan and Gujarat.
