I'm bound for Nagpur in the 22692 NZM - SBC Rajdhani Express. The train cleared a 50 kmph TSR near Palwal a short while ago, after which it gradually accelerated back to 130 kmph over the next three minutes and a half. I'm plotting the journey with GPS like I often do. The effects of diminishing acceleration with growing speed are clearly visible in the chart.

Another TSR near Chata. Note that deceleration is air brake dominated and thus falls linearly. I'm told that dominant regenerative or rheostatic braking is nonlinear, but one of the only places where you can experience that is while riding a goods train.

Locus Maps. I used the excellent My Tracks app by Google, which they discontinued a few years back. This one isn't free, but is a lot more feature rich. Lets you do a good deal of analysis on the phone itself. Worth it, imo.
