Official document regarding the proceeding in Lok Sabha about the projects in UP (asked by Sh. Ajay Mishra Teni and Shmt Rekha Verma to the Railway minister). These are answered by the then Railway Minister Sh. Suresh Prabhu.
Importantly, this includes the Mughalsarai (now Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. DDU) to Robertsganj line via Ahraura (on the grand chord) , and new stations at Sukrit and Madhupur. Looks promising. (Page 3)
Additionally, a third line between Varanasi and DDU is also included. (Page 3) ...
