Amazing slack. To cover 39 km, train is given running time of 5 hours

Its a win win situation i guess, Passengers are happy that their train is not so late. Railway is happy that passengers are happy
It's previous timing of Solapur was 18:00 while Mumbai Mail was 17:30, but after 19:00 to 21:00 there was no train at that time. Hence timing changed to 20:10 at Solapur.

For those boarding it at yadgir only , its a win win situation but for long distance /end to end travellers its pathetic
The TT in the SCR portion has remained more or less the same (give or take an hour or so) for a long time. In '99, it was 12:50 at RC and 15:35 at Wadi. The handover to CR at Wadi seems to have been pushed out to accommodate other trains on the Wadi-DD section.
