The window of a train is more entertaining than TV - Kirti Solanki

Today I have to catch 12013 New delhi Amritsar Shatabdi from New Delhi. Currently I am at KIET, Ghaziabad [~4 kms from Muradnagar Stn.].
The following are 3 ways of which I can opt for one, please suggest which one will be safe (to not miss train).:

Go to muradnagar stn & catch Ambala Delhi MEMU passenger (via saharanpur) till delhi shahadra, then metro from shahadra to New delhi (via kashmere gate) : estimated cost 30.
3. Take the same passenger above till ghaziabad and catch some superfast train till new delhi. : estimated cost : 0
