YO, HERE'S THE INFO ON PEOPLE GETTING ON AND OFF THOSE BOUJEE PREMIUM TRAINS FROM KOLKATA TO NEW DELHI: Pic 1 - Passengers gettin' on/off 12301 Howrah Rajdhani Exp via Gaya Pic 2 - Passengers gettin' on/off 12313 Sealdah Rajdhani Exp Pic 3 - Passengers gettin' on/off 12305 Howrah Rajdhani Exp via Patna Pic 4 - Passengers gettin' on/off 12273 Howrah Duronto Exp Pic 5 - Passengers gettin' on/off 12259 Sealdah Duronto Exp Some observations: 1. The Parasnath halt for Howrah Rajdhani is a big topic, but it only had an average of 13 passengers per day in 2016 and 2017, and 7 passengers per trip in 2018 (so far). That's the lowest number of peeps getting on/off at any station for Howrah Rajdhani. 2. Despite bein' a weekly train with a longer route, Bardhaman has had an average of 119 passengers per trip in 2016, 160 per trip in 2017, and 184 per trip in 2018 for 12305 Howrah Rajdhani via Patna. That's actually higher than the combined number of peeps at Asansol and Durgapur for Sealdah Rajdhani. Bardhaman has even had more passengers than Patna in 2018 for 12305. 3. Surprisingly, after Howrah Duronto was rerouted via Patna, Jasidih has had more passengers per trip for HD (76 in 2018) than Dhanbad (38 in 2016, 35 in 2017). In fact, Jasidih's patronage is almost double that of Dhanbad. But there has been a big decrease in the number of peeps travelin' from Howrah to HD since the reroute. 4. Another interesting fact is that Dhanbad has only had an average of 24 passengers per trip for Sealdah Duronto in 2016, 23 per trip in 2017, and 25 per trip in 2018 (so far). 5. Madhupur, another controversial stop for 12305 Howrah Duronto via Patna, has only had an average of 19 passengers per trip in 2016, 18 per trip in 2017, and 18 per trip in 2018 (so far). 6. Asansol, the newest addition to Howrah Rajdhani, has only had an average of 4 passengers per trip in the last month (June 18 to July 20). Check out #SC17 for more info.
