Hello Everyone,
We are planning to travel on this train, next month wanted to understand a few things from regular travelers on this route :-
1) Do we have the option to open the window in Chair Car.
2) By what time usually does the train reach SBHR.

1. No window cannot be opened in AC Chair car. In Normal 2S class you can do so. The train usually runs with very less crowd.
2. The Train is not running at least till 10th Sept till SBHR. There is very less likelihood of train resuming services before Sept. end looking at the number of landslides and weather conditions. However train does get slightly delayed to SBHR due to long halt at SKLR for brake testing and attachment of Brakers.

Thanks for the update.. are the LHB Coach 2S coach seats comfortable. Do we get a recliner for the seat?
It is better to reschedule your plans as there are fresh landslides. It may even take upto 3 months to clear the track. Hence, this will not run beyond Hassan.
Yes 2S seats in LHB have good recline and leg space, along with bottle holder plus table. I am above 6 feet in height and feel the leg space in 2S of LHB coaches is very good.
The train run has been cancelled upto 15th. Lets hope the line gets cleared till then. No connectivity between SBC and MAJN for next two weeks except the weekly via CBE.
