Hi, I am travelling from Mysore to Chennai in Shatabdi express. I booked Tatkal ticket from Mysore (boarding point Mysore) to Chennai, but I will not be able to board from Mysore. Instead I will have to board from Bangalore. Just wanted to know if this is valid. Also, this train stops only in Bangalore between Mysore and Chennai. What happens if I do? Want to understand exact rules of the same. Thanks.
Better board from Mysore. As there is no RAC on Shatabdi, your seat may be empty till Bangalore but why take risk. TTE may allot seat to other passenger . Boarding point change cant be done on Tatkal ticket
