Happen to travel to south and had to wait for chennai guruvayur express for more than 2 hours on 16th March with a A/C Two Tier confirmed ticket from viruthunagar to Guruvayur. Upper class waiting room was locked and our request to the station Manager and His reply is most irresponsible that is to say that it cannot be opened as the staff for particular duty had retired few months back and no substitute was posted.I can do whatever I want and he cared much less.This is the most irresponsible reply from a public servant.I pity the railway administration for the pitiable state of affairs . Hope Department will make necessary arrangements for the travelling public.
