Those passengers who slept last night (10th sep) after train started would have got a pleasant surprise after waking up this morning 6:30am. They would have expected to get down at coimbatore at 7:20am, but train was nearing only madurai, which it reached at 7:45am.

electric OH line was cut due to heavy rain near kovilpatti CVP station near virudunagar yesterday evening....so all trains stranded up along the way....many trains got delayed....he is mentioning that incident only...!!

This morning we went to receive someone without checking from net, and had to return disappointed. Now expecting to receive him at 12:30 or 13:00hours.

Finally train reached CBE 13:40 hours after Ernakulam intercity and before Kovai.
