1. Why do pantry cars of AC trains have sealed windows? The individual AC coaches have doors to hold in the conditioned air and have no co-relation with the PC, so what's with the pantry cars windows being sealed?
2. Also isn't it safe to have open windows like normal ICF coaches pantry cars? Better ventilation for exhaust of fumes.
3. Are all LHB pantry cars having sealed windows?

1) When LHB coaches were introduced, they were meant for an all-AC consist. Hence the PC was AC too. Later the design was never modified.
2) No, dedicated vents for release of fumes are available. In fact it is more hygienic to have sealed windows for a PC.
