Interiors of the train has been made more spacious.Washrooms have been provided with carpet and dustbins and with shower flush bio toilet. Interiors of the coaches has been decorated with pictures of various places around Asansol and nearby and with various old locos of ER. A timetable has been provided in each coach of the train for the convenience of the passengers.

and also in Future 12361/12362 Asansol CSTM Mumbai Superfast Exp and 13509/13510 Asansol Gonda Express will also be Refurbished with Modern Facilities prevailing the ISO 9001:2008 status.
He also said that since 12341/12342 Asansol Howrah Agniveena express is one of the oldest train of Asansol Division.It would run with Modern LHB Rakes within few months.
