The stay on new Aurangabad/Daulatabad-Chalisgaon railwayline by Rly Board, without any concrete reason has not gone down well even with BJP netas of the region. Earlier a few leaders fro Aurangabad and then MP of jalgaon had expreeed unhappiness openly against the Raily ministry. Now President of Marathwada Development Authority, Dr Bhagwat Karad, a BJP leader, had meeting with CM of maharashtra and also with Rly minister Piyush Goyal. They expressed their displeasure about Rly boards decision, that a profit making route is put on stay without any reason....

Both CM and rly minister has directed the authorities to prepare the detailed DPR of the project. Dr. Karad expressed the hope that by the end of 2019 work will start on this route.
NOte: This route will join MMR-INDB route at Dhule. Bhule-Chalisgaon route is already operational. This new line will open short cut from Gujrat to AP/TL. Will also give shortcut from Aurangabad/Marathwada to Gujrat, Rajasthan, MP and north india including Delhi.
