Ideally it is good but SWR may not have given clearance citing operational difficulties in receiving the train etc etc. Slowly they seemed to have started the process of diverting the weekly bi weekly trains from kerala towards BAND, KJM. In some time BYPL will be the main station.
But ironically they ran a special train from SBC-MAQ ( via Palakkad) which departed from SBC at 18:45. This was the same time table which was there earlier for SBC-ERS superfast express. That train was moved to BAND stating that no space in SBC !
