I'm planning to gift a Honeymoon ticket to my friend but not sure how to book a 2 berth coupe in PANDIYAN Express. As per the current sources available in Internet, The seat selection for coupe is purely on the person who would prepare the CHART on that day. Please let me know how to book a coupe (2 berth) in 1st class AC.
Inform the Ticket supervisor that this is a gift and ask for a 2 berth coupe.

Allotment of coupe and cabins is made at the time of charting only. Two passengers in a single PNR are always preferred for a coupe, subject however to availability. 1AC is prone to VVIP movement and as such allotment of coupe is quite un-sure.

I have a confirmed E-Ticket from Tirupur to Tirupathy with boarding station as Tiruppur. Since I have some urgent work on the day of the journey, I prefere to pick the train from Salem with the same ticket.
Please advise if this is possible and if not what shall i do?
