Requested our RM,RB,SR and Madurai Railway Divisional officials that Sivakasi City Railway station has to be converted as Modern Railway station in Virudhunagar district under Station Modernization programs.
Sivakasi City Railway station has to be converted as a Terminal Station.
Till date no Terminal Station is available in our Virudhunagar district.

Sivakasi Station to ESI hospital road lands are within the boundary of the Railway property.
These areas have been utilized for the construction of Railway staff quarters.
Present goods yard line have to be converted as Pit line and Stable line.
Moreover,the abandoned Alangulam Cement factory Railway line areas in the western side of the Sivakasi also utilized for the development purposes.Otherwise these Railway lands may be utilized by the culprits permanently.
First,requested that Vaigai expresses have to be extended from Madurai to Sivakasi City as Pallavan extended from Trichy to our Ex.FM, Mr.P.Chidambaram s Karaikkudi.
