Dee has been built to handle the traffic towards Gujarat and rajasthan side. Similarly anvt has been built for eastern India trains. These measures were taken to decongest the ndls and dli stn.
I find DEE very inconvenient. No metro connectivity like ANVT or NDLS.
Metro connectivity is there. Either de board at pratap nagar or shastri nagar. Take an e-rickshaw for 10/-. Yes, I agree that unlike ndls and anvt the metro will not drop you at the foot of the station
