Aur haan agar sirf revenue k hisaab se A category milta, BQA, CKP, DGHA, MDN sab A category ho jaate as they all register a revenue of 8 cr or more, uske liye ek kuch minimum amenity requirement hoti h, jab wo ho jaayega tabhi A category award hoga

Lalmati is preferable till Jhargram only. 😂Hardly, it makes it to SRC station, forget Howrah. Amongst, the most useless service I have ever seen.
i think we should wait for official announcement from railways for upgradation of stations....u can't say that a station if functioning like a grade so it is a grade....there are many nsg2 stations which provide provide services at par and sometimes better than nsg1 station but there is significant difference btw the two when revenue or footfall is concerned...so people cannot say that that nsg2 station is nsg 1 just cuz it provides facilities similar to nsg1 and i can see a document where ser officially categorising prr in b grade....so i respect the fact that u want best for ur homestation but i also believe that we should not assume anything until it is official
Yes that's always what happens in every journey. The train gets good weightage from BQA, VSU-KGP. Train is meant for all the stations from PRR to KGP. After BQA, no seats are left vacant. Train is not jam-packed from PRR itself. It provides upto 60-70% occupancy and train gets 100% by the time it reaches BQA. All unreserved passengers thereafter have to stand if they get space.
