Today I saw works of second siding of NTPC Kudgi plant which going towards Bijapur side until now I only saw Elevated siding which is on Gadag side so in future I think coal rakes coming from Gadag side can use this new siding towards bijapur and coal rakes coming from Hotgi side use Elevated siding which is on Gadag side.. I saw it from far so I didn't able to take pics..

Super story dost, even i noticed this long time back with Amravathi in parallel. Both were running neck to neck, MG line was more stable and speed picking was awesome in this route
That track sounds during MG was so noisy when train was runnig speed thanks to railways that now a days they been using welded rails for long km their cms one joint.
Right like "takak takak". Even those two bridges were loud Malaprabha and Doni too loud. we usually traveled in evening 6:30 pass dep to Bjp after coming from Hampi Exp and changing at Gadag. After Mulvad when train used to cross this bridge around 11:30 pm, sleeping people in the train gets awake and like "ohh Honagahalli came" and Bjp pax will get ready.
Yes Even my dad use to recognize some sounds of points where he could say this station passed now like he told their were some points specially for some stations near bijapur so listening that he can understand need to ready now to bijapur is near.usually at night times some times we travelled until indi road as we slept and didnt wake up at bijapur arrival ha ha..
Good, Today also many trains are late on Hg-Bjp section also, my bro was boarding Bjp-csmt fp. it's down train csmt-bjp didn't arrived till 3 pm etc
