Iwant to travel from CLT to Thanjaore. As there's no direct train from CLT to TJ I am travelling by Chennai Mail (CLT to ED) and Mysore Mayiladuthurai Express (ED to TJ). So can I purchase direct ticket to TJ at Calicut or should I purchase two tickets for two lags? Is telescopic fare available in second class?
Yes you can avail as its the shortest route available between the 2 cities telescopic fare should be present-the only issue is getting tickets in 16232
yes-as its single train from bangalore to tanjore getting tickets can be tough - you can try this chain too-but telescopic fare not possible /chain/1364/1242/2164
