Not sure if CTA - GDG will be given for a long train to Delhi. For a UBL train like that special, it was ok. But for a long one, they will minimise the distance.
I am just guessing that pressure from DWR MP may get a UBL - Delhi train via SUR as weekly or bi-weekly before 2019 elections. Just a long distance shot.

Ngp got sh*t from both CR and SECR, it doesn't have any useful train with decent quota. Esp those towards Hwh side, they're perpetually in WL from Mumbai itself. Can't understand what good they are expecting for NED/ AWB being CR.
It doesn't have pitlines. Just now searched and learnt that it has just 3 pitlines 2 +1 /blog/post/2303187
Pitlines is only a small part of problem brother, it can use itwari/Ajni or trains starting at Badnera also with a certain quota if they wanted to really develop.It is in Rlwl for most trains being a major junction in India.
Only Nanded rail division is transferred from SCR to CR more train will be possible for people to travel to Mumbai.
