I have booked a tatkal E ticket i sleeper class on which 4 persons are travelling, Should all the four passengers carry their id Cards or only one..

Yes, it's in lieu of printed ticket. ID-Card(s) must be carried separately

SMS / VRM (Virtual Reservation Message) is acceptable. No need to carry printed ticket. But ID card is mandatory and needs to be carried.
