more... MG era of Aravali region came to an end in early 2017.
We 6 railfans were fortunate enough to undertake this journey during the last few months of its operation. It was my longest MG rail line journey and enjoyed every moment of it.
Super PALINDROME YDM-4 6666 took charge of our 52928 Ahmedabad-Udaipur City MG Fast Pass.
This meter gauge rail line passes through the beautiful green plains of Gujarat, Aravali ranges, Shyamal hills, and Zawar mine region.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM PART-1 OF THIS JOURNEY VIDEO?
1) Dept from pf12 of ADI and negotiating the remaining MG yard in Ahmedabad area.
2) Coverage of junction point where ADI-HMT and ADI-MSH MG line diverges. Enjoy the MG track sound as we pass through the yard.
3) Where does the BG rail line crossing over to UDZ line ends?
4) Passing through ADI Division DRM office building and ADI outskirts.
5) Racing with airplanes as Sardar Patel ADI airport is located nearby.
6) Enjoy the clickety-clack track sounds and smoking as we achieve MPS and pass through some green plains of Gujarat.
7) Couple of crossing with HMT-ADI Pass & Khed Brahma-ADI Pass.
