Yes even I thought of this. But maximum crowd can be seen during the peak hours 4-7 pm especially the up-down ones, students & people staying in Pune for job. These people usually prefer the evening trains as the time is more convenient. Also running the train at this time will reduce pax of Nagercoil exp, Hyderabad Express & Hutatma exp.
