Threaten to stop Shatabdi Express on Apr. 25
Mysore, Apr. 21- About 300 workers of the Railway Goods Shed, under the banner of Mysore City Good Shed Workers Association, struck work today in protest against the Railway authorities for allegedly not heeding to their demands for Provident Fund (PF), ESI (medical facilities) and other amenities.
Association President K. Madesh told SOM that the Association members, during their meeting held on Apr. 5, 2012, had set a deadline to the Railway authorities to consider the demands of the 300 plus workers by this evening....

"However, since no efforts have been made by the authorities, we are forced to go on an indefinite stir," he said."Many of the Association members have been working at the goods shed for 30 years," Madesh said.
The workers also threatened to stop the plying of Shatabdi Express from city on Wednesday, if their demands were not taken cognisance of by then, adding that the workers’ family members too would join in the agitation.
