I don't think it is completely dead as new Mahamana ICEs are introduced in the name of shatabdi like patna Kashi JS?!
In my opinion, SBC UBL sector deserves Shatabdi more than SBC SMET and it is high time they get a shatabdi
The present ICEs are good. They can make the present triweekly ICE as a daily, but I don't think Shatabdi or even Janshatabdi to get good patronage. All GS of Talguppa ICE would be jam packed from SBC, so better a normal ICE at 17:30.
