As per the new policy approved by the Railway Board,
1) For new line construction geometry should be of 160 kmph and minimum MPS on opening should be 130 kmph. There should be no level crossings on new line.
2) For GC/Doubling/Tripling, minimum MPS should be 130 kmph with no unmanned level crossings.

but will have to see how will they implement on already doubled stretches..
